They’re not even pretending anymore. “Public service” now means “open auction.” Bids start at $500K and are rising fast.

Letting your representatives and senators, especially if they're GOP, but also Dems, know how you feel is a good start. When the majority in Congress starts wavering, the end of the executive orders may be more likely.
