Angels barbecue in Savannah, Georgia. Melt in your mouth delicious with every sauce you could want. Fantastic sweet tea. An almost literal hole in the wall that would sell until they ran out of food every day. They closed about a decade ago and the world’s been poorer for it.

“Redesigning Women” by the Highwomen was envisioned as a feminist anthem akin to Dolly Parton’s “9 to 5” and it just fails on every level. It’s catchy but lyrically, it’s the equivalent of “women love to shop and also? They’re moms.” It is a rich, white woman’s “feminism” and it bums me out!
