The Sims 3 requires modding out the bed glitch to even be playable. Also you can't even use all the expansion content on the same map. I don't want to limit my sim's options before I even start!

The guy reminds me of the enemies on the magical area in the original Spyro (in a good way)

Thank you. I asked a friend, who works in sports medicine, this once and she told me "because it's a diuretic." I didn't feel like arguing with her that we use the term diuretic because it makes you pee, but that doesn't explain the mechanism.

This is disinformation disguised as opinion. You know that you don't have to publish opinions based on lies and deliberate misrepresentations of data, right? If you didn't want to contribute to the harm trans people are facing in our state, that is.

I didn't bring up my back pain to a doctor for 10 years because I was afraid I wouldn't be believed. I finally did because I was afraid if I waited any longer it would be dismissed as just age. I didn't want pain meds, but watching Scrubs convinced me that actually that was even more suspicious.

Standing on a chair? Seems unsafe. Probably why that guy isn't winning any awards.

I can see a version of this where it's crayons but with queer subtext, which could be a smart move to evade bigots. This is not that and I'm disappointed.

Made me cry - Charlotte's Web. Made me irrationally angry because I had undiagnosed ADHD and it was SO GODDAMN BORING - Across Five Aprils

Please remember that you don't owe us an explanation or justification of what you do with the money beyond clearing your debts. By all means share what you want to share, but you still have a right to your privacy as well. We know that it's gone to a good cause regardless.

People appreciate your work, but the need to support beyond the usual youtube things wasn't as apparent as it should have been (to me too). I hope you can pay off your debts. Please still take the time to find what your life can be outside of youtube. Make things as you want to. We'll wait.

If he's a Cubs fan, how did he become a Cardinal? 🤔

One time I meowed at a stray cat I knew was hiding somewhere and it meowed back at me.

I think the way she frames it is the issue. She minimizes the impact of her desires as an inconvenience while treating people not wanting to talk as a sign of societal collapse. I'll talk to strangers, but when I'm trapped on a plane with them for hours they need to pass a vibe check first.

"Yeah he did the thing we want, but he only did it to look good!" So he looks good now, right? No? Huh.

If he's focused on dyes, maybe he'll leave our life-saving medicine alone.

Donate to your local library. Some number of people are going to watch it regardless and imo it's better that they find it through the library rather than purchase it. If the library doesn't want it they may sell it at a book sale.

Iowa was a purple state relatively recently. It voted for Obama twice. I can't say why it shifted right, but I don't think people collectively decided they didn't care about their immigrant neighbors anymore. I hope to see more of them pushing back as they realize and accept that they were conned.

Reasons I'm sad to move: 1. This is my home. 2. Everyone I know is here. 3. I shouldn't fucking have to.

It's funny because I had been considering switching from Twitch to YouTube to further avoid Amazon. I don't know which is worse at this point but I hate that there isn't a good option.

I get tons of cherry tomatoes and zucchini with minimal effort to grow, but lots of effort in picking them!

I talked to my daughter's therapist, who was focused primarily on anxiety, about my suspicion that she has ADHD (like me) many, many times. Eventually she was referred for an evaluation and diagnosed with ADHD and her therapist was surprised.

In one of his custody battles he was diagnosed as a narcissist. He says that the psych professional asked questions about if people were always talking about him when he went out, and he said yes like a narcissist would, but they didn't understand that in his case it's actually true!

The "I'm speaking" quote was originally from her VP debate with Pence in 2020, so that was the original context of the shirt. Obviously it takes on a different connotation now.

My favorite way to prepare marshmallows is to set them on fire and immediately blow them out. That may also be a metaphor for life.

I was diagnosed with EDS last year and likely also have POTS. I've had the symptoms since I was a kid but I was never diagnosed.
