Visited the excellent Juneau comic shop and gallery @alaskarobotics.com today, which had one of the most well-curated inventories of comics I’ve come across. Great and knowledgeable staff that made sure I walked out with more books than I expected to.

Local city Roc people that know codes/laws: What are the rules about having a contained fire? Specifically downtown area. Working on an installation & an event that would happen after and didn’t know what the current laws are. Can we use smokeless fire pits? Barrels X ft away from buildings?

I’m guessing that this is related to how shitty the Trump administration has been to POCs but this year I haven’t seen hardly any Cinco De Mayo celebrations happening. I’m previous years it was crazy how much I saw it advertised and various drinks specials.
