Misunderstood critter that plays dead when spooked and looks like < all the time like a silent internal screm. Very relatable.

Absolutely! I think understanding the variations in human expression helps animal illustration greatly and vice versa. Don Bluth did such a phenomenal job doing that. I’ll never forget the Great Owl in the Tale of Nihm and how his age translated in his humanistic and animalistic sides displayed.

I too understand the curse of Gemini brain being constant debate town… But the guy seriously needs to get his Gemininess under control. It’s not even embarrassing anymore, it’s just depressing. When I’m a Geriatric Gemini I’d rather be deciding on where I go fishin than running a country.

Assholes were told they couldn't be assholes anymore, so they decided to tear down the post-WWII world order. That's basically it, isn't it?

This is what I think of as active meditation. There’s many types of meditating, but this is the sweet spot for creatives. It’s why I love Ghibli films. They recognize those mundane moments have their own sacred release. Enjoying the simple routines helps extraordinary inspiration flourish.

Adorable! This made me wonder about our own house ladybug. Found her at the beginning of February which is oddly out of season. After seeing this post I found her again! She was struggling so I’ve given her some honey and a home. Hope she sticks it out till it’s warm enough to release her.

Maggots could never pull off the funk from the 70s. Go further back, this what they really look like with their aristocracy coin.

I remember seeing this a while back & wondering if it was real. Always gotten the impression he’d be disgusted with McDonalds. There’s many American dishes I fear would’ve scarred him for life. I’ve heard he loved shepherds pie. If he experienced my mom’s version he’d probably call it a travesty.

Wolfenstein was one of the earliest games I remember watching my cousins play. I was sad about the dogs but my cousins were like “they’re Nazi dogs, very bad dogs” and that was the first time I learned about Nazis. Educational! Definitely intrigued to let out some steam playing this newer version.
