I appreciate the sentiment but maybe it's time to update the generic phrasing to "protest as peacefully as tolerated" or "allowed" by the occupying force. Citizens are getting tear gassed and kidnapped by unidentified, armed men for recording videos of illegal enforcement. bsky.app/profile/iwil...

What are the most musician-friendly places to buy individual digital songs? Not looking for placebo quality tracks in obscure formats. High bitrate mp3 or whatever is totally fine. #music

Happy to see ArcSys getting a chance to work on bigger projects. Guilty Gear will always be their labor of love, but i think they realized it'll always be niche and tried to go further with DBZ and now Marvel. 4v4 seems overkill but they can probably get away with it. youtube.com/watch?v=nZxx...

As rough as the game industry has been lately, cool games are still being made and players are still excited to get them. Not sure what the future holds, but there's still some reason for optimism imo.

Not sure how i didn't see this coming but lol. youtube.com/watch?v=DD21...

Been getting curious about afk / idle games lately. I'm surprised by how many there are on mobile already. What are the best ones so far (and why)? #gamedev

One thing that's weird about posting on social media: On any given day, there's always some international crisis, some national crisis, some city crisis, some industry crisis, some local sports news that's important actually, and some nonsense that seems kinda funny.

I always wonder how these thieves justify the harm and the deaths to themselves. Sadly most modern Republican ideology boils down to might-makes-right for weasels: "Anything I can get away with is okay." Incredibly shortsighted and self-defeating in the long run, but greed always is.

Hey maybe it's a bad idea for college to be so expensive that everyone hates electives, and the tech/finance kids dropping out to speedrun becoming billionaires (and often failing) are the least well rounded people in their generation?

One thing that's weird about RPGs is how many roles you're expected to play. Want to be a denim wizard on a spaceship adventure? Cool, get ready for many hours of fishing, smithing, brewing, foraging, building, shopkeeping, couriering, bartering, farming, and of course endless social work!

Used to watch a lot of NBA but lately only watch playoff highlights. We all know good teams almost never miss shots anymore. One thing i've noticed is losing teams rarely miss either, they just take less shots. Den only shooting 9 times after 1st Q really hurt them today. youtube.com/watch?v=UKvc...

Slick politicians have gotten really good at spotting which questions they absolutely can not answer on camera (when they don't have a defensible stance whatsoever). But this can't possibly work either, right? Like no one sees this and thinks, "That there's an honest person, glad i'm on her side!"

Every day i don't order pizza charges up my next pizza enjoyment meter

Hard to describe what it's like watching Republicans try to strip health care from MILLIONS of Americans, for no other reason than to let their donors pay less taxes. I know they're just puppets for money, but they must KNOW they're killing thousands of people today. youtube.com/watch?v=xj9I...

Remember when you weren't sure if Darth Uncle Ben meant IP infringement?

Watched S1 of Common Side Effects. Lots of compelling, quirky characters who can hold a conversation. Way more plot than you'd expect, which does get a bit hectic sometimes. Weird animation style that really shines in key moments. Interesting subject matter too. youtube.com/watch?v=uHN9...

Pam Bondi lobbied for Qatar & a private prison company, got paid $115K/month, then failed to disclose it during her AG confirmation. Now she’s gutted foreign lobbying enforcement under FARA and signed off on $400m planes. The corruption isn’t even subtle anymore.

Impossible to overstate how much traditional media is failing democracy in the age of corruption. Not in a "How can these specific cowards be so stupid?" way. Rather: How did the journalism profession ever fool itself into thinking this desperate, fragile system could withstand any serious risk?

Digital & streaming music might be more convenient, but this still looks like the future. Just a different vibe.
