I'll have to give this a try next time I resin print. :)

I would love a CNC machine. It's on my wish list. :)

This is beautiful work! Really nicely done. :)

I wish I could heart this to infinity. The world doesn't need more 3d printed toys. Stuff like this is what we should be designing. It's what will push the tech forward.

Holy smokes. That's a long wait! Glad it was worth it though. :)

That looks like a lot of fun!!! I don't have any Lego. Maybe I'll steal some from my niece and nephews :)

Lol. I had no issues with my Bambu P1S until last night when I had to take apart the AMS to remove stuck filament.
How do you like your Prusa?

To be fair the new generation of 3d printers is dramatically better. I think the Ender series was both a blessing and a curse to the hobby.

I have a thing for unique lamps. This is very cool. :)

That looks so fun! I'd never heard of Lego print making either, but this is such a neat idea. :)

This is actually the place I was looking: www.smartmaterials3d.com/en/olive
And lol. That makes sense. I don't know if Smart Materials can help, but I did contact their CS. :)

Yeah... I saw a product called Compost3D, but it looks like they aren't at market yet. I saw another called OLIVE which is made from Olive bones. Their website won't let me order. :/

Yeah, finding a place that will do industrial composting for PLA is almost impossible over here.

Why would they do that? Are they upgrading to new spaces for the Maker and Automotive stuff?
I don't have kids, but if I did, I can think of worse things for them to learn in school than how to make stuff and how to fix a car...

If not, I've been using the trend interchangably incorrectly. :)

This looks rad! Is the top right E-Ink?

Does this have an onboard micro controller or nah?

I have some old pi's that I'm using for projects, but the value is way less compelling than it used to be. It's really frustrating.

You don't need a Pi for GPIO. You can buy an adapter that gives you GPIO from USB. I think Adafruit makes it. There's also knockoffs on AliExpress.
You can also plug an Arduino into any Android device and essentially get GPIO by communicating via serial.

Right? I would love to be able to just tinker and build stuff all day. That would be the dream. :)

This is a cool print. I like it!

Is that a Resin print? Depending on the resin you use, it may be super temperature sensitive. I use eco resin and struggled to get a decent print. After I put it in an enclosure with a heater and a thermostat most of my issues went away.

By the way, this glorious disaster was inspired by @techconnectify.bsky.social 😂 If it weren't for that set tour video I'd never have made this thing!

Thanks! It was worth it, but I have a whole bunch of failed display cases I don't know what to do with. 😂

I finally posted it! Not sure it was worth it. :D

I would love to be able to hack one to use custom code. They have to have some sort of processor inside...

Will do! :)

I designed a nifty little display case for my minis. You would think that sounds simple. I thought so too...

In 2024 I'd say this was the most profoundly dumb shit I'd ever heard of.
In 2025 I'm not sure it makes the top ten.

I feel your pain. Believe me. I think I'm super close to having a working prototype and the last print failed on me. 😡

I have never, to this day, been able to get past the atrocity that is the Blender UI. Folks like you who have wrangled it have my utmost respect.
