I have an Apple store two blocks from my primary work site. They helped me when I fell and shattered my watch. I had an older watch, got it set up and they ordered an Apple Care covered replacement (there was some sort of fee, but far less than a new watch).

Might look at that next time a team member needs a new machine. Mine is two years old and should serve me for quite a while. I splurged for memory and hard drive space, which are usually the things that push me to a new purchase.

I have used Mac laptops for years. The price always makes me pause, but I don't run into all the issues that my Windows users do. I also travel a lot and take my laptop around town a lot. Very few issues with reliability.
