You are probably not alone. If you love Pete and are in a relatively deep league, Ceddanne is worth a look too!

What do you think about Jones from a durability standpoint? I view him as having an elevated risk of significant arm injury due to last seasons injury that put him on the IL

Clay Holmes is an ace.

100% with you on Cruz. Barring injury, I feel like this is the last opportunity to buy low on him. And ā€œlowā€ is anything outside of the top two rounds. I still find him hard to acquire in my dynasty leagues, so those who are in on him are still entrenched. I would be too.

Love that you have Moreno top 10. I think he fully breakouts out this year

Also, always queue your players using average stats. Whether it’s year long, month, 14 days, or 7, you’re going to get a much better indicator of player value than based on total stats. I’m shocked how many people don’t know this and how consistently I can take advantage.

Krejci is a current example of this. His season Yahoo rank is 255, but over the past 14 days he’s ranked 75. Managers know he’s playing better, but when they lineup players in a trade proposal so many of them remain swayed by the season ranking. Take advantage!

The best players to target are those who started slow or are breaking out because they season rank looks like crap but they’re actually valuable.

Dansby was hurt and still had solid underlying metrics. Good buy low candidate

Nice list! I agree with all of them except Gleyber. I’m totally out on him in Detroit. Comerica ruined Javy Baez who had more power and was more dynamic. It will suck the soul out of Gleyber too

I still like Alvarez a lot long-term and he’s the younger and probably more gifted player in terms of power and upside. But Moreno is just a really advanced hitter who could be a serious impact player with a bit more power production and better health. Gimme Moreno in 2025 and maybe beyond.
