Love this. I used to do a lot of yoga in North London - and the elderly Asian women would be upside down and in this pose and that, perfectly - and the strong guys in the corners of the room would be in heaps of muscular stiffness.

Ooh yes.
I was about to get off the train from York at Stevenage. Hanging around in the vestibule, I noticed a man standing next to me. And his eyes had me in seconds. They’re gorgeous and so striking. Then his smile, a kind one. Vinnie Jones was chatting in a very friendly way to the train crew.

It's the London I've known since I first came to study here in 1982, worked in from 1987 and have lived in over the years.
Perhaps your London is different. London is so big and diverse that we have different experiences of it and, depending on our outlook, we interpret our experiences differently.
