Coffee isn’t cutting it today.

We lost our cat Buffy last night. Everyone is devastated. My daughter is in the middle of finals at college, but she’s coming home tonight to say goodbye to her girl. I can’t stop crying.

In beautiful Edinburgh. It was supposed to be sunny, but it’s grey. And I have a cold. Looks like it’s a long sleep today.

Oh, it’s toasty here today.

Just home from Germany. Next up, DUBLIN!

Today the first violets bloomed in my yard.

Four days back from London, and I’m still having my morning cuppa. I made coffee yesterday, but it just didn’t hit right. Back to Old Blighty….on a rainy day.

Way to go, Wisconsin!

Spring break! On our way to Bath.

Made a nice pot of yellow broth today. A true “from nothing” meal. An Irish hug in a bowl.

Working with tRumpers two days in a row. GAH!

A long day followed by a short night. Now the dog is chasing the cat. Chaos ensues….

The weather is warming! Snow is almost gone. I think we’ll get another bad winter storm before spring. I hope I’m wrong.

I’ve been fighting a good fight for so long, but with all that is happening in the world, my depression is back and kicking my ass.

Good afternoon, Bluesky!

It’s not fair when your family changes plans, moving them forward without consulting you. Especially when you have two days off to recover from jet lag and a lack of sleep, before repeating the cycle. Then they make you feel like the bad guy when you state your boundaries.

Arrived in Munich this morning. Saw the US contingent’s planes prepped for departure, and multiple motorcades on the way to our hotel. Person in front of me at customs says, “proud to be an American,” to immigration official. I pass through, and ask him if I can please be Canadian. He grinned.
