I still can’t believe it. Is this genuinely his conviction, or is it how his he and handlers think politics should be done? Would one be better or worse than the other? Disgusting is right. I’ve used up a year’s incandescence quota in one day.

(That said, I’m not unhappy that the rise of Reform in England will increase support for Scottish independence, notwithstanding a sizeable longing there for the 17th century.)

Agreed. He (Grey) fears the consequences of a backlash great enough to overwhelm Labour. I think the sooner they get on the front foot, the more chance they have of avoiding that prospect. Rope-a-dopery will get you so far, but at some point you have to unleash a few blows.

I’m in full-throated agreement with Edwin (long-time follower). I was defending Grey from an accusation much higher up the thread that he is a Brexiter. Evidence included the word ‘Brexit’ in his handle. Ffs. As for Labour, their red lines are self-imposed against supporters’ stated wishes.

He says it’s not ‘politically viable’ by which he means they’ve boxed themselves in so much that changing course now would see them crucified. That’s not an endorsement, it’s just stating a political fact. If you want Chris Grey’s opinion, ask him. As for me, I’m fucking furious with them.

The one in which he says ‘the government treats it as too politically dangerous to say what is common knowledge around the world: that Brexit was neither sabotaged nor betrayed, it was just a terrible idea’? And points out how this is helping Farage? How hard do you have to try to misunderstand?

Labour and Tories combined on have less than 50% support. We need an electoral system which recognises the new reality.

So that’s what it is! The wiki link from my camera roll has been telling me all sorts of nonsense. I’d given up hope that my four-year seeding blitz would pay off, but that’s yellow rattle and corncockle I’ve now got springing up. Hopefully lots more to come. 🙏🏼

When you have a golden opportunity to do things differently.. a huge majority.. 4 years more in power.. Trump destabilising America and making the EU the far safer, saner bet.. And you do nothing radical to shift the dial in that moment.. just more Daily-Mail-pleasing bullshit.. you’ve failed.
