Students across our district high schools organized a walkout yesterday and converged on city hall to voice their opposition to ICE. Community members showed up along the 3mi walk from our campus to pass out water and snacks to the youth. Beautiful scenes all around.

Recently returned to school. About 200 students & 12 staff lost their homes in the fire. And students tell me they’re terrified that ICE will take their family. And students tell me they’re afraid of FAFSA and what Musk will do with their info. The worst of times for so many of our students.
