We got out several weeks ago - we saw it coming. We also exited Nvidia at the high point. Took me 6 months to convince partner to sell it.
House is almost paid off, partner retired. I don’t have to work if I lose my job - we can get by without SS.
Serious concerns about 90% of everyone else.

I care deeply about people in the macro sense & wish consequences on individuals who would harm some other group.
Call it FAFO, or #leopardsatemyface, etc.
There have been far too few consequences for people who voted for this hell. And I am here to see them burn.

Side note, I was “unemployed” for 10 months, 5 of which were spent on a huge community project, then the holidays, then 2.5 months of focused searching.
I always have to have a project to work on, so I am glad to have this opportunity.

Torn down in our gov’t, I only see revolution. It is the only way out.
While I wouldn’t second guess taking a life to defend myself, I also don’t want to be here if it gets that bad. Maybe because I know I could kill… chalk that up to being female in a rapist world.

It is harshly smaller than I would like.
While the list is hierarchical, it is also based on need & mental acceptance of what is happening. Clearly, we will be able to help those who ask for it first, are most in need, & will prefer those most in line with us.
