Labour wins a by-election-It's bad news for Labour. Labour loses a by-election-It's bad news for Labour. Reform wins a by-election-It's good news for Reform. Reform loses a by-election-It's good news for Reform. That's the take of #r4today over and over again.

I see Honest Bob Jenrick has a new little video attacking barristers for representing unpopular clients. Once again for those at the back: Lawyers are not their clients. Which is how, when Jenrick broke the law in government, he had lawyers to defend him.

Labour's attempts to blame rising small boat numbers on the weather are "pathetic" says Shadow Conservative Home Secretary Chris Philp In other news, here's Chris Philp, when he was Immigration Minister, blaming rising small boat numbers on the weather

Why does the BBC persist with this divisive platforming of Claire Fox? #politicslive

"Nigel Farage wants to leave the ECHR to make YOU considerably poorer. No state pension. No minimum wage. No state benefits. No maternity pay. No holiday pay. No sick pay. And ultimately, no NHS. Nigel Farage is not on your side. Wake-up!" via Sarah

Every day our Labour government sends out Press Releases. Lots of them. I share the most relevant. Main Stream media ignore 90% of them. Because they are determined to have a Reform PM. And don’t care what chaos that brings to our country. Because their owners don’t live here!

What a nasty, sordid nest of vipers to have festering within the party! Labour could do themselves a huge favour and bin Blue Labour. It would be a very strong signal that they're walking away from their Reform cosplaying days. If instead they listen, well... www.theguardian.com/politics/202...

I’m toasting Zelenskyy tonight. What a bloody hero. History will treat him very well. 🍻🥂

I have never seen such a political and personal pile-on than with what is happening to Labour and Starmer. They've made mistakes, for me, only two, but are being ripped to pieces. Who's responsible? A toxic MSM mostly but a dumbed-down public doesn't help. We're in a dark place with no way out 😒

We're not there yet, but one future benign use of AI will be to feed it ALL of the MP/peer expense data, and get it to cross-reference against every speech, written question, etc. and tease out every instance of "influence" ie where payment led to an attempt to change or delay policy or legislation.

Labour aren’t spending all their energy conniving on ways to accept dodgy untraceable donations. Nope. Instead heads down looking at ways to improve our living standards and get our country back on its feet

Imagine if a referendum were held in which 52% of those who voted declared that the Earth was flat. And that subsequently everyone in the UK was forced to behave as if the Earth was indeed flat, and all main parties said "Ok, flat it is. Evidence be damned." That's Brexit.

Can I just mention that, under this govt, a new 54 bed mental health ward has just opened in Derby, & funding has been secured for the Derby Florence Nightingale hospital. Labour is getting on with the huge task of restoring our NHS. If nobody gets to hear about any of it the myths just get to go on

So Jenrick does a PR stunt and the BBC lap it up and do a prime time hour long phone in giving him the publicity he was after. But then again it fits in perfectly with the BBC agenda under Robbie Gibb.

We are governed by a lunatic

I'm waiting for the video of Robert Jenrick chasing tax dodgers - including his former cabinet colleagues - and asking them if they think it's right not pay. But it doesn't seem to have been posted yet.

Did you know he has a lovely family? x www.normalisland.co.uk/p/were-sayin...

Lawbreaking is "out of control", says well-known respecter of laws and rules, Robert Jenrick

The real Farage.

I just saw and fact checked an interesting claim. Robert Jenrick posted a video where vigilante style he confronts a fare dodger on the Tube, and claims that Khan's London is the Wild West. Actually, the crime rate in his constituency is higher than London. Go to Newark, Jenrickman...

When Americans raised concerns about RFK Jr.'s anti-vaccine views, he said he was "not gonna take away vaccines from anybody." But now he's taking them away from millions of mommas and babies. Vaccine recommendations should be based on science, not RFK Jr.'s political agenda.

but it's worth it for the $90 million military parade for the president who avoided military service. roughly half the US has traded even a faint fading glimmer of hope for a restored or even stabilized environment because hating persons of color/immigrants/transgender persons meant more to them.

Nigel Farage is voters' last choice to be Prime Minister - as he's branded 'political fraud' www.mirror.co.uk/news/politic...

Message to all Women of the UK: How do you feel about Nigel Farage wanting to review our abortion rules/rights/timeframes? You cool with that?

🇳🇴 Norway took its oil wealth and built the world’s largest sovereign wealth fund — investing in pensions, healthcare, and the future. 🇬🇧 Britain sold ours off in the 1980s, handed control to private corporations, and spent the revenues on short-term tax cuts.

www.thelondoneconomic.com/lifestyle/re... Imagine how stupid these people are?

Why would anyone want these muppets running things? Almost 2/3 of Farage’s mob in Cornwall can’t cope with simple paperwork. #cornwallreports

Narrator: he didn’t

Reminder: the Taylor Swift and Bruce Springsteen posts are just to distract from the Qatari "gift" or the fact that he's trying to rip Medicare and Medicaid from millions of Americans right now.

I stand with Bruce Springsteen Please find the obscene threatening thread of the narcissistic ruler of Land Of The Unfree Below 👇

Everything he touches goes bankrupt.

In case you wondered, Private Eye have crunched.

Brilliant! The Labour government has issued over £630m to schools, hospitals, and other public buildings for measures including heat pumps, solar panels, insulation and double glazing. It is estimated measures like this will save the public sector around £650m a year over the next 12 years. 1/3

I don't know what this means, but I'm the one who wrote a fully updated, 624-page hurricane response plan at FEMA that took over 2 years of work and careful coordination among state and federal agencies. He could start by studying that.

BREAKING: A leaked recording obtained by @news.sky.com reveals top Tory Chris Philp admitted the UK couldn’t return asylum seekers to Europe post-Brexit, despite promises made at the time

The phrase "grooming gangs" IS a dog whistle. Which doesn't mean the crimes aren't real. We've moved on in the last 20 years. The police (some forces were guilty of appalling decisions) have actually been arresting people, who have actually been prosecuted. . . #bbclaurak

Make it make sense

Oops.
