I saw those too the other day, I just assumed they were there to protect the flowerbeds as they get established. A more subtle reminder to 'keep off the grass' than poles and hazzard tape ruining the aesthetic. I sincerely hope that they don't lead to permanent fences!

Doesn't feel right 'liking' this comment but I suspect you're right in what's said. I remember this poster from the early 80s which seems relevant again

Thanks for your posts Adam, your words and experiences help. I'm late diagnosed (53) and it's like I'm starting life all over again. If you're into podcasts I can recommend Paul's 'Adult with autism' - very relatable. Cheers.

That sounds awesome! How many robot minions are you in charge of? Are they on multiple floors?

Since my diagnosis at 53, I have been replaying my memories of my life in my mind at 1000x speed looking for clues. It's all there

Hi mate. I've been following you for a while and everything you write I can relate to at a personal level, so thank you. Your words help. If you're into podcasts, I recommend 'Adult with autism' The UK based host speaks about his late diagnosis journey and traits much like you do. Cheers.

It was about ten years ago for me and I still remember it. When I told my boss that I had to leave and that despite having built a successful career, I just couldn't handle corporate life anymore. He looked at me and said "sounds like depression, get the help you need soon, it's more important"

So glad you chose the best version to talk about! I've been a huge fan since first hearing the BBC radio series as a kid and I loved the TV series, but I couldn't finish watching the film version.

Great ep Tony. What's the gig in Parkdale on the 14th, is it only you, or with the other comedians on the website? Either way, seeya there, it's walking distance from home so why not 👍

Hi Robin. Did you find out when the Australian release will be, and if there'll be signed copies with it? Cheers.

I reckon this is the start of what will be a 'social credit' system as seen in some cities in China. Private citizens, orgs, businesses will be assessed by AI and given a rating.

Nope, but I'm going to try it out now! (I didn't know it was a thing until you said it!)

Coming to America

My guess is that he wants all this data about US citizens to create a 'social credit' system like those found in some cities in China. People will be rated against some bullshit criteria and those with a low score will face restrictions and retributions. All powered by his AI of course.

Nicely said. A good analogy I heard is that imagine the Autistic Spectrum as one of those big sound mixing desks in a professional recording studio. The buttons, dials and faders are all there, and each one can be tweaked to create a slightly different sound, but it's still a sound.

Almost Friday here in Melbourne and I'm listening as I type. Great ep so far 👍

Good stuff, is Sandy still doing news quiz? She's great. I've just sub'd to the Private Eye pod Page 94 Also the Weekly Show pod with Jon Stewart. Since my late diagnosis I have fully embraced NC ear buds and a world of podcasts.
