Your user name is so apt because the last couple weeks have been really hard and your art has brought me such joy. Thank you thank you!

This kind of thinking is how I lost friends when I became seriously ill and had a hard time juggling everything while trying to stay alive. What does it hurt you to send a second message? And maybe see if your friend is ok?

You’re relying on a brief quote from a think tank to make you feel better about what is happening. If you want a more thorough and widely accepted reference, read Hannah Arendt’s The Origins of Totalitarianism. If you prefer quotes to in-depth reading here are a few www.goodreads.com/work/quotes/...

He seems both wildly jealous and super attracted to you. With racism heavily sprinkled on top.

What a screwed up view of reality you have! I see a young man with very meaningful work at a top tier university, a vibrant social life, a kind heart to those less fortunate, living in a lovely apartment in Hollywood, with so much love for his mom and sisters. Plus the pack! That’s a good life.

This may not be a solution you want to try, but my doctor gave me a prescription for a low dose of propranolol for any “stage fright” situations. My neuro issues put me at risk for bad results in intense situations where I have to speak and appear normal, even with all my expertise. Good luck 💕

Elizabeth Holmes was also very skilled at “founder cosplay,” which was smart since women founders get only a sliver of VC dollars. Her forced lower voice, mimicry of Steve Jobs’s wardrobe, deliberately messy hair were carefully assembled for the men who give money to people who look the part.
