early on before we really started looking, paul wanted to look for new construction and i told him (1) the yards would be tiny and (2) they're going to have the same problems a well-maintained older home would so it's a wash. unlike a lot of other things, here "new" doesn't mean "without flaws".

southwest implemented their changes now and despite flying almost exclusively southwest for the last 10 years it may be time to consider ditching them. they took away the benefits and looking at a list of flights, they're also more expensive than my other options. enshittifcation is the worst.

For the first time in almost 38 years, someone correctly guessed that I'm Mexican and not [various other shades of brown]. "Eres hispañola? thinks Mexican, maybe?" Had to come all the way to Italy for that to happen 😂
