In my day job I have the privilege to hype the majestic @thechineseroom.co.uk's creations to the world, and it feels so special to get this appreciation for that work. Also got nominated Campaign of the Year at this year's MCV Develop Awards, too. 🥰 Still Wakes the Deep: Siren's Rest out tomorrow! 🌊

And they told us not to eat sand. Throw off your chains!

Floored. The Bread and Roses Award is a British literary award presented for the best radical book published each year. My book "Everything to Play For" has made it onto the longlist! Beyond honoured. And so glad that the Left is finally putting to the forefront serious conversations about 1/2

Ok this feels very cool indeed. What a beaut. 🔥 My @versobooks.bsky.social book in Traditional Chinese. Out at the end of the month with the publisher Acropolis. www.books.com.tw/products/001...

centrism means focusing on the good things bad people do and the bad things good people do

Pathetic billionaires at each other. A fun night to have watched Mountainhead.

Really looking forward to reading through the first issue of Controller/Revolt later

The aesthetic of Doom: The Dark Ages

DOOM: The Dark Ages, though. 🖤🖤🖤That's all, that's the post.

Enormously thankful to have been asked to contribute to this. A fantastic line-up of articles on videogames, art, culture and politics. All profits will be donated to the Palestinian Red Crescent Society. Be sure to support and enjoy the read! ✨ controllerrevoltzine.bigcartel.com

Just spent a few days in the Tatra mountains with a bunch of close friends, and the rejuvenating effect is hard to describe. No masks, trees, many pleasures, laughter, rhythm, glowing dizziness. Needed it, recharged so beautifully.

Zero shame to say Addison Rae's is currently my most anticipated album. Every single is a banger, and she just awakens all of these feelings in me.... Gosh.

The level of hatred these AI bros have for creative people I just do not understand

Same lol

“The settlers told me ‘This is our home’," said Sulaiman. “There is nothing I can do. They have guns and other weapons.” This is just a tiny microcosm of how this pushing of the Palestinian people out is done. Over and over again, mile by mile. For decades on end. www.theguardian.com/world/2025/m...

There's a very common belief that the realm of "politics" or what's "political" is limited to like, "senators saying something" or "elections" as opposed to "everything that happens in your life and all around you"

Tonight? :)

So fabulous to witness how my book just has its own independent life by now. E.g. there are at least two reading group events of it taking place in Austria and Lithuania in the next few days. All run by different folk! 🌏📖 Vienna: www.meetup.com/uxvienna/eve... Kaunas: facebook.com/events/s/nep...

Great to see parts of the UK games industry finally refusing to work with the evil that is Barclays Bank. I was raising ethical concerns re: it ~6 years ago & was proper dragged through the mud by industry darlings etc. I guess money talked louder back then. Hopefully more detanglement will follow.

& just to note - I'm not against internet as a concept, god knows it's got tonne of amazing uses. What needs to change entirely is the mode of ownership & production, that'll result in a different internet altogether.+ I strongly oppose the binary choice that was made for us to be unable to opt out.

This is just currently actually the most avant-garde thing I've read in a while. The movement will not be using internet at all, only email for administrative purposes. I do think it entirely changes what art is produced, and how. Possibility for videogames when?🤔 www.theguardian.com/film/2025/ma...
