I am struck by how many of these stories feature high-achieving students who’ve taken the theoretical and historical lessons taught by teachers/professors and applied them being told, no, not like that.

these are obviously and comically bad opinion articles, (leana wen rufkm lmao) but a real problem scicomm has is that it follows the tech-access model instead of the sourced reporting model, and if they don't play along they end up sifting through nature preprints for their story [the worst!]

It’s not hard to, if you’re not going out, being the central phone number node for help and especially lawyers. If you’re not protesting for whatever reason you can circulate with water and packs of other kinds of aid depending on your area. Options exist.

It’s possible he’d like to go for more playing time and money and a new challenge late on or whatever (I find that a bit hard to believe given how established he is in the city and that he’s from Glasgow, and his wife is from Glasgow, but who knows).

Robbo is the better player & a lot of people are (for some reason) rating him solely on his showings at the start of the season, when he was returning from injury (at his age) & not fully fit. It’s remarkable. Ask them to pick a specific Tsimikas performance second half of the season that shows this

I think my main hot take should be that The Killer suffered from an anti-spectacle approach, a poor host (boo streamers and their campaigns), and a general “we’ve seen what else you’ve done and this is not the same.” I thought it was really good, actually, and had interesting things to say.
