I feel like we should encourage people who are being censored to join Bluesky. It’s important to keep posting elsewhere, to try and reach as many people as possible but this is (for now) our safe place.

I’ve been posting my “Encyclopedia of curiously banned words” on Insta together with reposting stories about Gaza and various environmental news items. Yesterday I posted a random video of me making pancakes and when my mother commented it it disappeared and popped up that comments were “disabled”.

I’m a big fan of the Alien movies but this one was such a disappointment. Why are all these modern prequels and sequels so appallingly unimaginative? By all means be inspired by a classic but please add some twists and stuff, don’t just rehash what has already been done better.
