Yes one can have an education and not know how to use it. Another issue is searching for what you want to believe instead of the reality. What I can’t understand is why so many want to believe a criminal will work within the law and are shocked when it affects them.
comment in response to post
You are right that propaganda is a serious issue but if you have a decent education you should be able to spot the propaganda. For example, if you don’t know how tariffs work, you can easily be persuaded it is a good thing. But it is designed to protect domestic producers not consumers.

Malicious pleasure, what a concept. It does help a little when you see people find out they cut their noses off to spite their face. I think there will be a lot of buyers remorse as time moves on. The down fall of education is why we are where we are.

Apparently people think we don’t need the rest of the world. Will they think any different should we invade Panama,Greenland or Canada and the world stops shipping us food and other products we don’t make here? Sounds sort of conspiracy theory doesn’t it. I do think it is possible.
comment in response to post
Education is required in order to know when your government is doing precisely what they are currently doing.
comment in response to post
Sadly it is a good idea for them as it is precisely how they got elected because people didn’t understand how tariffs work. They didn’t understand that egg prices were a result of fewer chickens to produce eggs. They don’t understand how the government is supposed to work.
comment in response to post
Once again a huge failure to take responsibility for his own actions. I wonder, does he really think that tariffs will replace the lack of revenue from the oligarchs not paying taxes?

Their eyes are squarely on the prize of permanent and absolute power. So they are interested in anything else. The worth of an individual cannot be tied to the results of an election they are not involved in. It is crazy, but is expected behavior from clueless people running the show.

One would need to know that a meeting was scheduled in order to hack in the first place. The second is that the very nature of using government approved secure coms is to avoid such hacking. They simply cannot accept responsibility for their mistakes and their excuses always make them look idiotic.

Sadly it generally hits the people who can least afford it. I’ve been though it and it was an expensive way of basically borrowing money till pay day. Fortunately I have managed to improve to the point I don’t need that “service” anymore.

We need to quit referring to the current administration as the administration we need to call them what they are a regime. There is nothing administrative about the White House as it stands now. Yes we are fortunate to have true reporters interested in telling the stories truthfully without fear.
comment in response to post
Why do you suppose the poorly educated didn’t take it as the slight it was intended. I suppose either they didn’t believe he said it or he wasn’t talking about them. The latter seems to be supported given all the post I see where people thought he only meant black and brown people as dei hires.
comment in response to post
And we are surprised? Don’t you think it is expected behavior from a convicted felon steering the boat? But our Congress is so compromised there will likely be no interference from them.
comment in response to post
Well they are the kings of “do as I say not as I do.” So I’ll be surprised if anything comes of it.
comment in response to post
Remember, they don’t play by the same rules that democrats do, so it isn’t an issue for them or their supporters. This should be an outrage moment but like all others our congress will over look it because they fear trump or they agree with trump. Either way we may not recover from this regime.
comment in response to post
Never thought I would see it until now. It is obvious that the regime intends to destroy the US and what it meant to the world. I wonder, is this what Bush sr meant when he talked about a thousand points of light one world order?
comment in response to post
So you punish the entire population of the state, because you got your little feelings hurt. This is worse than a toddler. Elect a felon expect felonious behavior. I would count retribution among the many wrong doings of the regime in the white house. It seems to be his ultimate goal.
comment in response to post
It is hard to negotiate when you can’t bully the person you’re negotiating with. So much for the great negotiator.

With the number of cases in just two months time being so high, and the fact that his first term was way out of the ball park, it seems to me that there is justification for removal due to the unprecedented incidences of illegal activity. What should one expect from a convicted felon?
comment in response to post
I wonder, have we reached the point of no return? I just see more of the same happening not much being done about disregarding court orders. Sadly we seem to have a Congress that is terrified by Trump.

Didn’t cars used to be bolted together? Lets glue it they said, it’ll be fine they said.

You know, a lot of us saw what the Orangeman was from the beginning. The sad truth is that they underestimated him. They thought that he could ever win. Somehow he did the first time, the second time I am not so sure. Now finally people are waking up. But it’s too little too late. Doubt it changes
comment in response to post
Apparently it is all in the perspective of the beholder. Or more to the point, it is ok as long as it doesn’t affect me. When it does they demand action. Sorry but isn’t how it should work.
comment in response to post
Easy to say these things when you are so far removed from the horrors that was the nazis. Or rather I should say IS the nazis as apparently he is trending towards it.
comment in response to post
Sadly they were part of making the monster that is the orange man. I am just glad I have a valid passport should I need it.

Yes it has come to be that petty. In a near by community, a parent was so upset their kid brought home a picture of a rainbow that he called the governors office and others and tried to stir up the community. The community put him in his place and explained to him what it was. Unbelievable.

We only pretend to be the greatest nation on earth, the reality is we have completely lost our way. The attitude is we don’t need no education but we have seen that lack of it has brought us to the chaos we are seeing now.

Religion has no business in secular institutions. If you want religion in school, send your kids to catholic schools. For who would balk at that idea, create your own dumbed down schools only teaching the Bible. See how successful your kids are after that. One needs a good rounded education.

While I do not condone shutting the government down as it is an expensive proposition, I do think it is past time that Democrats start standing up to the führer. Might as well call him what he is. It may be a slight nowadays but it simply means leader.

Ignore it and it will go away said the patient with terminal cancer. It works the same way.

One reaps what they sow.

Really? We know he will never balance the budget because of his tax breaks and spending money hand over fist trying to do away with government over site. If it were not for the taxes those making below 150,000 pay, there would be little revenue reaching the federal government since wealthy don’t pay

Ok, the first couple of downed planes can be chalked up as coincidence. Everything after that seems a bit more like mismanagement. Accidents do happen but it seems to be too many “accidents” of late.
comment in response to post
An easy way of cutting social security, if you don’t pay out, the payee cannot complain about it as there would be no one to complain to. So you see there is a method to the chaos.

Greed is the only reason we do not have a national health care system. I have friends in the UK that tell me it works and works well. He said never let them tell you it doesn’t work.

Some of us have more to lose by staying in a country that if the trend continues, would result in concentration camps or other hardships because we don’t conform to the white supremest idea of what it is to be a US citizen. We’ve spent too many years to get where we are we don’t want to go back.

Will Elon ever outspend his income? It appears a lot of his investments are taking a huge hit. You would think it would give him at least a pause to reflect on losing some of that wealth.

It has never been about saving money it has always been about destroying the government. It is like a bunch of idiots poking at something without regard to the effects of their poking. Think of a rattlesnake poised to bite the in the behind.

The GOP not so grand anymore. Apparently there are too many of them that either aren’t paying attention to what they vote for or they really are that petty. One should never vote for party unless the candidates are reasonable trustworthy people who care more about their constituents than they do $.
comment in response to post
I think you’re right or they only care about their little corner of the world.
comment in response to post
Isn’t that par for the course? They elected a criminal and they expect above board performance? Oh how they have been swindled yet the republicans in congress are so power hungry (or afraid of Trump) that they refuse to backdown and do what their constituents want.
comment in response to post
They are setting up the federal parks for what Trump does best RAPE them of their resources. He is a convicted rapist after all, not to mention a convicted felon 34 times over. I guess maga doesn’t care about preserving the majesty of our countries best vistas.

Oh but you say you don’t want to lose out on your favorite food? Then shut your mouth and live with everyone around you as if they were your friends.

If you’re going to go to a Mexican restaurant, your server will likely be of Mexican descent but that doesn’t mean they are here illegally. Never understood how one can like the food but hate the people who make it. If you don’t like Mexicans, don’t go to a Mexican restaurant, it’s that simple.

Sadly the base doesn’t believe that he has done it. They didn’t believe he would do the awful things he has, why would the believe he did that?

If your representative is afraid to meet with you, they are not doing their job. If your representative holds a town hall and only invites people they think will agree with them then leaves because they don’t, your representative is not doing his job. Pay attention to what they do not what they say.

We said he would be a dictator, he said he would be a dictator. This is what dictators do, they arrest those that demonstrate against them. Eventually he will do what people have said democrats would do, take away your guns. But I am sure he would never do that right?
comment in response to post
No one ever said trump was a smart man so it is to be expected. The country is being run by complete idiots from president musk/trump, VP Vance and maga republicans in Congress. We simply must get control of both houses.
comment in response to post
You’d never catch trump in a battle zone. As I recall Biden went to Ukraine as president. What a huge difference the character of a man can make.

They should have left it there for people vent their frustrations, better yet send it on tour for that purpose. I see a new product on the horizon, a trump punching bag with his face on it.
