It was popular here but obviously doesn't have the same impact.
Saw someone do an acoustic version at an open mic a few weeks ago actually.

I used to occasionally have to work on top of The Shard. 300m up it is usually windy and cold.
I'd have to either wear or carry a big coat on the tube which was hell. Especially if I had to get the Central Line at all that day.

Why is it so backwards?
I needed to update my photocard. Went on DVLA website. Had a new one within a week. They lifted the photo off my passport details.

I did the whale watching but didn't eat any. And I missed/chickened out on the Hákarl.
I did eat tenderloin of horse at Grillmarkaðurinn tho. It was delicious. Also went horse riding.

Probably not related but who knows, there aren't many of us.

They were the equivalent of an E2/3. IN THE 60s. Imagine how bad the pay was and they could just get tickets to one of the biggest bands in the world on a whim.

My dad was back home on leave from the Royal Navy in the late 60s with some shipmates.
They walked past a venue where they saw a poster that The Rolling Stones were playing that weekend.
They just walked in and bought tickets at the box office!

The "Welcome to Truro" sign (if coming from The West) is basically in the middle of a field.

I'll always remember the Jim Jefferies bit.
He goes for his annual physical and takes the time to ask
"Hey, Doc, is it important to get your kid vaccinated?"
"Only if you want them to live."

I saw you mentioned York in a previous post and assumed it must have been somewhere else.
York is great. I went around Halloween last year and had to ask do the students normally dress like this or is it because of Halloween.
They're very gothic students.
