"Tyranny requires your fear and your silence and your compliance. Democracy requires your courage." -- @govpritzker.illinois.gov

looking back, AOL had it right. 30 hours of internet per month was the right amount.

@bsky.app - I’m sure this has been asked … but -please- add a feature to let us import starter pack into lists.

Daddy won't like this.

DOGE is looking less like a cost-cutting effort and more about digging a hole by breaking our government and xAI will be the ladder to get us out. He is creating the problem and wants to sell us the solution. Mark my words: Elon is positioning to have his AI technology running our government.

Wow! The number of @bsky.app users just passed 31 MILLION!👏 LETS DO THIS!

So true.

If you told me in 1994 that 30 years later the world’s richest man would be a bully SysOp of a worldwide BBS and would use that position to curry favor with a US President…I’d be like wtf man are you nuts

Much more to come over the next years. www.washingtonpost.com/opinions/202...

The qwen team is doing a fantastic job! I’m excited to see competitive open-weight models. I’m curious why we haven’t seen a 72b coding model yet and whether their reasoning model will exceed the 32b version. Either way, I’m thrilled to have good 32b models that can run on my laptop.

Social media is in desperate need of innovation. Meta is only letting you have a slice of control over what you see because Bluesky is here building for you.
