Look at this amazing photo

Wassup, folks? I've been working (WIP) on this corridor in a circular hotel in space. It's doing my head in. Think I have artists' block. Not sure where to take this. What do you think? #blender #sciart #spaceart #3danimation

When the Lunar Orbiter 4 spacecraft gave us our first good view of the Orientale basin it was revelatory. Not only was this giant multi ringed impact basin first revealed in its general form, other such basins were recognized across the Lunar near side. Oil paints on canvas panel.

Big fat mining ore hauler on Mars. Because why not. I had fun making this in #Blender. Do like a bit of hard-surface modelling. #scicomm #sciart #scifi

Hello, Blue Sky. Here's a #b3d #animation showing a mining operation on a small asteroid. #SciArt #spaceart #Blender

Very old (2013) #3Danimation created in #Blender3d, depicting the formation of Earth's Moon. The Earth has been hit by a Mars-sized body, throwing debris into orbit, from which the Moon is coalescing. #SciArt #spaceart

Looks like a weird alien.

Billions of years ago, the Earth looked like this. Those structures are called stromatolites: sedimentary formations created by microorganisms, e.g. cyanobacteria. They can still be found today, mostly as fossils; living ones are also known but rare. #SciArt #blender #b3d #Blender3d

Awesome animation showing a train crash, all done in #Blender. The characters are basic but the rest is jaw-dropping. Well done to VFX artist Landon Fernald. Why pay for 3d software when free and open-source stuff can do this?
