I watched Total Recall at the weekend. Hadn’t seen it in 30 odd years. I really enjoyed it and thought it had held up well.
My wife said it was garbage though.

During COVID my wife had to shield so we tested our school age daughter everyday. To distract her while I stuck the thing up her nose I used to rap ‘The Fresh Prince of Bel Air’ then set her questions afterwards.
‘Where did he spend most of his days?’
‘What we’re a couple of guys up to?’

Such a place exists. The Tawd Vale Pub in Skelmersdale. It’s been there since the mid 19th century and serves neither food nor children.
