"used" is a word with a broad definition. It's a terribly worded question.

This is why we need ethics, morals, values, why establishment systems need adaptability and fresh messaging to meet people where they are.
I think the inherent risk of failure in any government system is our motivator to keep advocating for our values, lest they perish.

It seems that a lot of the current TV/film about the Bible is geared for a more religiously conservative audience. I'm glad they are seeing stories they connect with come alive. But the aesthetic is not really mine, I wish there were a larger range of productions aimed at multiple audiences. 2/end

I'm frustrated there's so little Religious TV and Film. We need more Noah's, Come Sundays & Rugrats Passover's. NBC made a stab at this with 2 shows and a movie in 2013/14 also Kings in 2009.
Am I fan of The Chosen, eh. But I'm glad it's being made and spinning off other similar projects. 1/x

Here is a vid of Klien being interviewed in 2010 and the difference is quite stark.

What's scary about this is that Fight Club made the exact same argument 30 years ago.

Are you underestimating the threat of menace re: the pardoning of the convicetd J6 offenders, and a loose pardoning strategy? IIRC, several Republican Senators privately said they voted against impeachment out of fear of reprisals from the electorate, not "I'll get voted out" but "I'll be attacked".

Hi I really appreciate your thread. I do some interfaith work with Jews and Christians (check my linktree). Would you be okay DMing me, I'd like to hear more about your work and the experiences you've had.

Their ascents do not abrogate your efforts and accomplishments. Hard work still matters, it always did, it always will. None of them have what it takes to soulfully interweave Hasidic wisdom and Hip Hop. Keep doing your thing.
