Beware of the mirror you look into. What’s good for the goose is good for the gander. Iran isn’t the only country in dire need of regime change for the safety of this world we all have to share.

Surely time for impeachment. Of the LOT of them.

Imbeciles reap what they sow. Never forgive them for what they drag us into.

Some on this world would do well to learn the humility of our place in the universe, and I for one enjoy the sights from outside our world 🌍👍🏻

People so desperate for a Nobel peace prize are deeply undeserving of such accolades. So far I fail to see any peace, more war and destruction, including turning aggression on his OWN PEOPLE!

Labour have already misstepped a number of times since coming to power, now adding the Blair fallacy to Starmer’s apparent weakness, not following the morals he purported to have while running for office, as well as chasing the impossible ‘Reform’ vote, they’re burning bridges for the next election
comment in response to post
Add this to the list of reasons the public likely won’t forgive Labour come the next election… we still remember the false reasons we were dragged into Bush’s imminent threat to the Middle East

Vance would be wise to be careful of what he wishes for. If he pulls anything like this he might find he’s got MAGA and the Dems out for his blood.

Because Reform voters have been indoctrinated in the ways of Putin just like their dear leader. They are the antithesis of the patriotism they ironically flag wave so fervently about.

Or ironically, Isreal

Over 126k blocking him now. He’s a popular block!

I’m sure those RAF aircraft were feeling terrorised. How did they even get into a military base in the first place should be the head roll question
comment in response to post
He knows going in would not go down well with his maga base when he was elected on not doing the thing he’s dithering about doing.

Believe it or not there are a growing number of non white folks in Cornwall. The change has been more noticeable over the last 4-5 years I guess. Pretty much since Johnson told the Europeans to sod off and invited people from Asian and African countries to fill the job gaps instead 🤷🏻‍♂️

Overthrow one set of bad guys sure {looks around at western attempts at regime change in the Middle East and how well that’s gone 🤪} and who knows how mad the next lot filling the void will be. From the frying pan into the fire.

Alike the false assertion that Saddam Hussein had weapons that could reach the UK falsely leading us into that regime change folly, ask the same question now about why the UK would get involved unless all NATO are involved because Iran isn’t a direct threat to the UK?

I’m amazed after years of attacking its neighbour, that it’s taken this long. Seems the world hasn’t been as hard on Russia for their illegal war, as they should have been.

“A little less” is being kind, but diplomatic I suppose.

If only everything WAS just a metaphor rather than the dystopian reality we’re rushing headlong into…

Thank goodness for active block lists. He was already blocked by one list I subscribe to for me when I looked to block him. I’ve no time for fascism. I guess it’s going to get a bit more toxic here too soon but at least curated feeds and blocking is much more effective here.

I couldn’t watch it. First episode and it felt too dystopian & far fetched to be real, and yet here they are today

Only now? Has been for years. I left about 3 years ago not long after Musk took over and broke it, and I was thinking of leaving for a couple of years even before

Votes for the Face Eating Leopards Party and acts surprised when the Leopard eats his face 🤷🏻‍♂️

I do sometimes have battles over the Oxford comma, which like you I approve of - it just makes sense - but sometimes the client is right. Not a hill I’m going to die on, even if they’re wrong 😆
comment in response to post
As a designer I quietly correct client copy. One big bug bear are weird possessive apostrophes wrongly added when talking decades eg: 1980’s 🤬 vs 1980s 😊

After all the 💩 that Trump has thrown around about the rest of the world and the threats he’s made about pulling out of NATO etc I don’t think supporting the US on this will win votes. Strange that anyone should consider joining an attack on Iran after shying from attacking Russia to help Ukraine
comment in response to post
His language suggests he doesn’t want to do what the hawks around him are probably calling for. Maybe he knows that if the US goes in on this he loses his MAGA base to whom he promised an end to wars and no more US involvement in wars etc.
comment in response to post
Or poll against parties and individuals like Trump who then seek to rubbish or worse litigate against the polling companies because they don’t like what they hear. Reform of course wouldn’t dream of such a thing while they’re on top.
comment in response to post
They’re a business. Polls are just another way to make money. Plus influence, as you say. Rarely that accurate I’m not sure they serve any societal value other than to stir 💩 up and make our politics worse than it already is, as politicians chase the mythical voters the polls suggest.
comment in response to post
The country is losing its senses. Nothing good will come of Reform. But then again we get polls EVERY day and it’s meaningless given the General Election is years away.

Anything ‘woke’ is kindness. The meanness and cruelty of the right don’t like anything good.
comment in response to post
We are being ruled by the rich. So much for the report noting the wealth flight from the country was a very tiny percentage, and the calls of patriotic millionaires to tax them a little more to yield billions to the public purse. Let the squeezed majority and poor pay instead.

I’ve clearly seen too many American tv cop shows!

Funny. I watched the video of this. He assaulted no one. Just asking questions about legal authority and warrants. Apparently talking to people who ‘claim’ to be the law by their costume and manner, is now an arrestable offence. No miranda rights or reasons given 🤷🏻‍♂️

Ah. Feelings and being in the headlines trumps fact. Fool.
