It has always been like that. I grew up in the evangelical cult. They gave lip service to the purported teachings of christ but never practiced them in RL. It is easier to pretend you have a "personal relationship with god" than to reach out to a struggling neighbor.

The cases are being dismissed to allow for the arrests. Once the case is dismissed, there is no more due process and it allows ICE to arrest them. Sneaky bastards.

It was a business decision that will probably make her a lot more money. Since she is very philanthropic, I hope it does. She has given more money away that most CEO's in this country. I am not a fan of her music but she seems like a good person.
