I write code (mostly in #Javascript), watch #Formula1 and do a lot of #3Dprinting. I may well speak about these things.

He said that about the current regs, and he designed the most dominant car that year. Sounds like he's found a similar trick.

In other words, he 100% quit because of the driver swap decision.

Employers can let people go at any time, so they can also change the terms. Employees can leave if they don't like the new terms.

FYI to people that don't like it, you can turn it off — navigate to Settings > Moderation > Verification Settings to toggle it off.

Found it. Shame that it's all or nothing, I really just want to hide them on the timeline to reduce the clutter/noise. I'm OK seeing them on profile pages.

Any options for users to configure when this appears?

If it passes the FIA tests it's legal. Maybe Red Bull should "fix the fucking car" ?

It almost certainly isn't "back", it's miles off where it was. The percentage going up is not the same as the percentage going down, it's much much less.

We don't need to wonder, we can go watch the races from that era to find out.

Hadjar for sure, seems to be a star of the future.

I suspect because people that invest in it also invest in stocks, and they try to liquidate everything when something like this happens.
comment in response to

My guess is people who saw this coming are liquidating with a view to buying up stocks at the bottom. A cynic might say that it's part of the plan.

If Liam does better in the VCARB, why would he want to swap back?

Zero chance that happens, they already spent a lot of money developing the new engines and cars.

Wow. I wonder if this is because they had to fight for the championship last year, so couldn't just switch to the new car early. Could they finally be cooked?
comment in response to

It isn't even the new car, it's the RB20 (last year's car) in this year's livery (which is basically the same).

Pretty sure that's the RB20

That doesn't appear to be true because you didn't block anyone at the time. These are the timestamps of your most recent blocks. The one from 11d ago was before that post, and then the other 3 were AFTER you called out the quality of the replies.

From what I saw, you got those replies AFTER you called out the quality of the replies here i.e. after you stirred the pot. I get it though, this kind of drama gets you engagement in both places, and that's your raison d'etre.
comment in response to

Replies from "the other app". In my view the difference to here is you are seeing all the replies, whereas X probably doesn't notify you most of the time.
comment in response to

What do you want the replies to be? If all you want is positive affirmation, you could probably just train an AI to do that for you.

Be interesting to see if Alonso wins anything at AM. This will come back to haunt him if he doesn't.
