Die haben schon ein Thema, das ist die im Zweifelsfall korrupte Selbstherrlichkeit des gehobenen Buergertums. Die waeren gern die mit Machtmonopol versehene Elite, aber ohne die fruehere Erwartung an eine Elite, dann auch kompetent zu sein. Wenigstens Spahn Dobrindt Soeder et al scheinen mir so.

People are being taught to have ressentiments by politicians. But there are real issues. Polish agriculture would be outcompeted by UA one, this will cause unrest throughout the EU. But more generally, Poland reaps the benefits of its workbench status and this would be threatened by UA.

I agree that the holier than thou charade some of them put up (while doing nothing to address real problems) is annoying. That's not particular to the EU though, it wont get better if we all fall apart again. Look at Dobrindt in D or PiS or Wilders in NL. Even worse.

EU (we) isnt better than we are. Corruption is anyhow a problem in Europe (like thats not exactly news). We need to get it out and on the EU level it is even easier than in the nations. Look at all the anti-EU rightwing politicians, corrupt as hell.

Yes and the hypothetical answer to that screaming is to say "So?". Thats how deterrence works. You estimate that they dont dare. They will act as if they dare, and if you believe it you lose and if you dont you call their bluff.

It is possible, yet it would do so only in response to some physics, whether we know it or not. Be aware that such projections are 'curve-extrapolations', they are reasonable, but not based on particular physics. World is not a curve fit, and it may have surprises in store, both ways.

Dieser Ausdruck 'Man kann kriege nicht militaerisch gewinnen' missachtet das komplett, er ist einfach inhaltlich falsch.

from observing over the years, my impression is that logics such as this doesnt matter. R voters will vote R regardless of what R's actually do and say, because it's their tribe. D voters will vote D regardless of how little or nothing D's actually do, for the same reason, and so nothing changes.

Solche Fragen koennen nicht eindeutig beantwortet werden. Es sind Einschaetzungsfragen. Man sollte die Leute eher ermuntern, ihre eigenen Einschaetzungen zu machen, die dann aber auch als solche behandeln - fehlbar, immer mit der Frage: Was, wenn man sich geirrt hat?

Im Wortsinn ist kein Mensch an sich illegal, das behauptet auch niemand, ihr Aufenthalt in bestimmten Gegenden dafuer sehr wohl.
Im uebertragenen Sinn steht der Slogan fuer eine Politik der unbegrenzten Zuwanderung und die kann man mit guten Gruenden ablehnen.

Uh, einverstanden. Die Gruenen muessen ja nicht die einzige Partei sein. Es gibt ja auch noch die Linke, sofern du wenigstens die fuer links haeltst :) Ich bin mit der Rollenverteilung ganz zufrieden. Am Ende kommt es darauf an dass die ganze Gesellschaft sich bewegt (weg von rechts).

Die Gruenen sollten sich nicht zerfleischen. Das hat niemand noetig under der Parteilinken hilfts auch nicht.
Auch wenn es im Moment umstaendehalber schlecht aussieht, sollte ihr Anspruch bleiben, in die Breite der Bevoelkerung zu wachsen. Das erfordert Toleranz.

Ich bezweifle das. Die Naehe zur deutschen Grenze war fuer den liberalen Kandidaten positiv. Die PiS Hochburgen sind im Osten und Suedosten. Das polnische Ergebnis ist innerpolnische Sache.
Kritik an der antieuropaeischen Haltung von Teilen der Union ist zu Recht. Aber nicht anhand dieser Wahl.
