I do not know of any rehabbers in Georgia, unfortunately. If your employer needs to move that nest, they're going to need to get a take permit, likely even to deliver the nest/inhabitants to a rehabber.

all of THAT said, I do not want to foist a label on anyone if it does not work for them! As such, I will not insist you are a birder simply because you fit *my* definition. I just want to be clear on how I think "birder" should be defined for maximum inclusion.

IMO the insistence that one must "seek out" birds, preferably away from home, to be classified as a "real birder" is one of the most pernicious bits of ableism/classism/sexism in the birding community and one that I am eager to counteract. If you notice birds and want to know more, you're a birder!
