I’m sorry I have a simplistic mind. Doesn’t the fact that they are able to arrest people unlawfully in the country mean that those people are subject to the jurisdiction of the United States?

Perkins Coie was the first to sue Trump about these executive orders, they were represented by Williams and Connolly. Wilmer Hale has also sued.

And when women are abusers or accomplices, it really shocks us. Consider Marion Zimmer Bradley, and more recently Nobel prize winner, Alice Monro. www.nytimes.com/2024/12/08/m...

Restaurants and hotels are relatively small. It would be incredible to get it to work in a sports venue, or a public building, or a concert hall (where space tends to be at a premium)

Sometimes what people in the future will think of you is less important than what you owe your family. Hunter didn’t think much about what he owed his family, but his father does.

I’m glad he did it. Hunter was the GOP’s punching bag even during his father’s administration, and Biden went to great lengths not to interfere. Now that Trump is going to be president, I think he had to prevent the kind of abuse that Hunter would be subject to after Trump‘s inauguration
