The idea that anything as diverse as the human population can be reliably sorted into two fixed categories at a glance is, quite literally, fascist. You either force people to give up their freedom to live as they wish (fascism) or you grant people the respect to take them at their word (freedom).

The political answer to this trans sports stuff is not "they have a point" or even (correct) arguments on moral grounds, but "they want to transvestigate your kid" But no one in the discourse as usual is thinking about policy outcomes when it comes to stuff.
