The European mind cannot comprehend that the New York Giants & New York Jets play in East Rutherford, New Jersey

There’s one thing the club could have done to free up minutes for him

Whoa whoa whoa, I thought Simpsons jokes were @tim-stillman.bsky.social personal domain

You left off: - Whoever buys the most players wins - Players under 23 will all get better & increase in value, no matter how few minutes they get - A 10 year old version of Football Manager is a good stand in for a scouting & analytics department

I’m not sure that in early March Palace would have been counting on winning the FA Cup and acting accordingly. They beat Millwall in the 5th round on March 2nd, a day after the UEFA deadline. Putting a club in a blind trust after the 4th rd is kind of absurd, & UEFA accommodated much bigger clubs

“The Longest Day.” A lot of people don’t know about the longest day. And really it was only 24 hours long. But John Wayne was famous for something else that was really long, if you know what I mean

Look if we don’t sign Rodrygo, Sesko, Zubimendi, Morgan Rogers, Kepa and a utility defender based on outgoings, we should probably just bin Berta

I am quite comfortable saying that real estate developers, pipeline developers and the Kochs are not an electoral constituency worth fighting for. There are other, better ways to approach lowering energy costs & increasing housing availability than parroting corporate lobby interests.

Thank you for including a screenshot of a post I've already engaged with. Very helpful behaviour!

The interns were not the events interns but a conservative groups interns. Shoddy reporting by the Times!

Yeah a co-host. I'm talking more about the abundance agenda stuff than this particular event

Weigel's suggests the NYT is wrong in their description of who this was bsky.app/profile/dave...

Ultimately this is a papered over approach for policies that aid corporate interests, hurt regular people & the environment, and have no electoral constituency worth fighting for. But 'abundance' is a great word & frame, so a lot of people fell for it.

There were absolutely people pushing the "Abundance Agenda" while not realizing what it was or who was behind it who should have known better. Who should have looked around and asked, "Why am I getting Koch money?"

It is almost astonishing how many of our Framers sat down to try and imagine the Worst President Possible and arrived at almost exactly Donald Trump. Every time.

Ok they made 50m on beer sales on Sesko’s first home match day

If a club can sell their club to themselves, what’s to stop them from announcing that they’ve offset a new transfer fee with by purchasing kits? Step 1: Arsenal sign Sesko for 50M Step 2: Arsenal announce the club has booked 50M in Sesko kit sales to themselves.

In case this was not bad enough, Yglesias continued to highlight the negative influence of "The Groups". His example of a "bad incentive"? Democrats visiting Trump's gulag in El Salvador

And, again who could have guessed, telling voters about Kilmar's case made them disapprove of deportations more.

Reminder, too, that Yggy has never worked on a political campaign & has zero domain knowledge of what winning on a campaign takes. He’s just been jacking off behind his keyboard to conservative fantasies - whether it’s bombing Iraq or looking in your kids’ underwear - for 20+ years. That’s it.
