I dig this. People are focusing on the “glass” aspect of this change, but I think “liquid” (dynamic interactive design) is a bigger deal.

Apple is now allowing any developer to tap into the local AI model on the iPhone — VERY VERY cool, glad they did this, huge for LLM privacy #WWDC25

Can definitely relate... I'm in the process of launching my first iOS app, but almost gave up a few months ago because of this.
I ended up organizing my longer-term goals (esp. go-to-market stuff) into projects + tasks in Linear, and felt much better about it. Hope you feel focused again soon!

Very troubling to think that we're on a path that will make us even less compassionate and empathetic for one another

Yeah, I’m on my second submitted build and have setup an external group.
I contacted Apple to help with my first build almost a month ago and they said they’d fast-track it with the review team, but nothing changed. At this point, I’m not sure if TestFlight will be feasible with my timeline…

I’ve been waiting on a TestFlight external review for over 3 weeks ☹️. Granted, it’s my first app and review process, but still, very disappointing…

My wife is a designer and has a walking pad like this — the only time she finds it convenient during work is when she’s listening in on a meeting or catching up on email/slack/docs.

best of luck with the llc paperwork! I went through the process in December and the amount of hoops to jump through in NY was staggering

I would never tune out all news, but lately I’ve been trying to better distinguish between signal and noise. What news is worth my time & energy? What news is clickbait/opinion/hyperbole?

I’ve found that sometimes it’s easier to start with iOS first because it has the most constraints, but tbh it’s always tricky

Seems like a really clean setup! Would you recommend your SSDs + enclosures?
I just got a base-level Mac Mini M4 and looking to expand my storage…

I’m digging the bottom one! Colorful foregrounds on gray backgrounds tend to reduce contrast, making text and icons harder to see.

My favorite stat is that I more than doubled my overall music listening this year! (compared to last year when I was leading a team and constantly in meetings)

Badge on home button is a big improvement IMO. Gets my attention without being overwhelming and it’s consistent with the badges on other tabs.
The floating button works fine, but gets lost on top of the feed/user avatars and I feel like I accidentally tap it at least once a day.

My brother has been solo-dadding since his daughter was 6 months old (she’s now 3y), and he’s just been an absolute champ.
He’s got a good support system, but even with that, it’s such a tough job. Single parents deserve mad respect.
