We would fold a pair of the strips in overlapping squares, making a kind of bendy paper spring. Sometimes we would color before folding. I guess these days you’d call it up-cycled crafting XD

I first learned to program on a TI-99 in 1984, and Parsec (alongside TI Invaders) were my mom’s favorite game. I acquired a recapped/refurbished TI-99 ~6 years ago and was able to share Hunt the Wumpus with my child. Now I want to play Parsec via my @retrotink.com 4K!

Brandon (Stephens) did a similar exploration for a stats ticker in our XR product. When it’s going fast, there’s a need to come up with an efficient blur effect that performs well in stereo at 90fps.

This, and the Barney the Dinosaur game, are two great games for very young kids to get used to retro controllers with. My daughter played both (original cartridges on my @analogue.bsky.social Mega Sg). I was pleasantly surprised at the voice samples!
