It's so hilarious those who claim to be the arbiters of creativity constantly parrot "AI slop" over and over instead of actually using their creativity. Be better. Lol

Musk allegedly did not undergo proper procedures immigrating to the US. Trump has been found liable for sexual abuse and defamation. This breakup of theirs? It's literally Alien vs. Predator.

"98% on Rotten Tomatoes just means 98% liked it more than they didn't"- Ryan Coogler

It's so funny that "STAR WARS" fans have wanted Dave Filoni to be in charge of "STAR WARS" instead of Kennedy because they hate women and now he's probly going to be in charge of "STAR WARS" but now they hate HIM because he made a show that reminded them that he does not also hate women.

Elon Musk and Trump fighting. The cult switching. Thunderbolts* making less than a Black Captain America movie. Not a good day for white people but

The amount of times I've seen people say "just make it good" on videos talking about long-running franchises is silly. They seem to think some producers say before going into projects "I'm gonna make this one bad now." "But sir, just make it good." "Well, hot damn, I never thought of that!"

it's a little weird to me how much leeway Tom Cruise gets from people who are otherwise not "separate the art from the artist" types

BREAKING: The opinion of a random person you just encountered online is not, in fact, the universally embraced belief of "the Left" or "Liberals" or whoever else you'd like to paint with a broad brush. More as this story develops.

How my cockatiel Lyra sees herself.

toxic #design mythologies: when you love what you do it isn't work. eat, breathe, & sleep design 24 x 7 x 365. you can learn everything from youtube. critique should be brutal. hustle, hustle, hustle. you have to have side projects. you can sleep when you're dead. only big name studios matter. 1/2

This article gets it.

I've been seeing a lot of doomerism lately. And look, things are bad now, absolutely, I'm not denying that. But to say "there's nothing we can do" or "it's all lost" just means they've already won. Keep standing up. Keep voting. Keep living. Persistence is resistance.

"Forced diversity" isn't a thing. What IS forced, though, is the default dominance of the straight white cis male POV.

Happy first day of Pride Month AND also happy National Dinosaur Day!

Considering that Netflix made over $10 billion in PROFIT last year after producing and releasing over 100 original films (that's two films a WEEK) and Disney Plus reached profitability a full year ahead than expected, I highly doubt the accuracy of this claim.

I literally saw someone complain about the ending of the new Lilo and Stitch and then call the movie literally giving the solution to their problem (portal gun) "a bullshit cop-out." Uhhh, dude? That literally solves your issue, and you're just going "nuh-uh!" The hate for this is so performative.

"The vibe was off!" "It didn't seem eventful!" "Something about the movie didn't feel right." These are incredibly common complaints I've seen about Cap 4 online, and you're not gonna be shocked when I tell you what that "off feeling" they have really is. No one actively THINKS they're a bigot.

Nothing gives me more shame and yet odd and undeserved pride in that I'm 95% sure I'm the one who inadvertently started the whole "T. rex actually had wings!" conspiracy that has infuriated so many paleontologists in Facebook comment threads.

Now that Thunderbolts* is definitively going to make less at the box office than Captain America: Brave New World, are all the people who claimed the "MCU is dead because DEI" gonna relent now that a mostly-white led movie made less than a movie you kept screaming was a huge bomb? Probably not, lol.

Rewatching Captain America: Brave New World on Disney Plus, and damn, this movie is so fun and so well-done. I would say I don't understand the hate behind it, but obviously we all know exactly why it got so much hate behind it.

I freaking love Quantumania. It's a top 5 MCU movie for me. Any of the things folks complained about it, like it being too different than the other Ant-Man movies, the sci-fi vibe being corny, MODOK being stupid, Kang being too powerful for someone like Ant-Man, are all the exact reasons I loved it.

The idea the “Captain America: Brave New World” is “centrist” is ridiculous to me. The movie was written and made before Trump won a second time. If anything is “centrist,” it’s America itself.

I'll never forget when famed cultist Thomas Cruise Mapother IV proudly said how they used "no CGI" and they "flew those planes for real" and all the film bros applauded... then the behind the scenes footage showed that almost every single plane was fully CGI and it had extensive VFX credits. Lol

Because Thunderbolts* is guilty of a lot of things some of you are raking Brave New World over the coals with. And I’m saying this as a fan of both.
