My Barnes and Noble had some Shout and Vinegar Syndrome 4Ks today. Caught me by surprise. Ran in to grab Criterion's BRAZIL 4K but snagged THE SCENT OF A WOMAN from Shout while I was there.

Get ready for another extremely limited steelbook that most retailers will oversell preorder stock for. (Or be ready to import the standard case from the UK.)

SINNERS is out on digital. They kept the aspect ratio shifts. I can confirm that THAT scene still brings the house down.

If you weren't 6-years-old when it came out, you probably hate this movie. I almost feel sorry for you. It's a relentlessly campy comic trip through the mind of a flamboyant director swinging for the fences. I love it. It's not "good," but who cares.

Oh, Kobo is going full AI chud, too? Neat.

Just read that Jonathan Joss was murdered by his neighbor. Got in an argument and the neighbor pulled out a gun. Ah, Texas. Was great as John Redcorn in King of the Hill, of course, and unbelievably funny in Parks and Recreation as Chief Ken Hotate.

It's been a little over a year since I was laid off, and while I've gotten my hourly rate close to what it was, I'm still completely without benefits. Haven't been able to take a day off in roughly 14 months. Keep being told there's good news coming soon where I'm at but... could it hurry up?

All-time banger.

August!

Just uninstall games you aren't playing. No one on Earth needs this.

FRAILTY 4K coming from Lionsgate Limited. Should go up for order on June 10. Love this art.

Can't stop watching the Frankenstein teaser.

Still available if anyone is still searching.

Lovely stuff.

Oooooooohhhh

Is today's Poker Face the best episode of the show? I vote yes.

IGN says The Last of Us season two delivered a "killing blow" to the series which is a weird way to say "successfully adapted the amazing second game and raised the quality" but to each their own.

Great stuff. Also, those movies haven't been building to anything. Garbage franchise.

I feel like I'd be very good at reviewing discs, unlike literally everyone doing it on YouTube. Oh well. The studios would rather have misinformation getting clicks than helpful info.

This is so funny. Hope he drowns in his own tears.

Got about $10 in store credit from @diabolikdvd.bsky.social for orders I'd placed with a tariff fee attached, so you know I immediately had to go ahead and place an order for Arrow's DARK CITY release.

Yep, got an email as well. The best in the biz.

Umbrella's 4Ks of THE FALL, WAKE IN FRIGHT, and CALIGULA on the way. Think I'm going to sell my Columbia Classics Collection sets along with my current Wes Anderson Criterions. Space is too limited.

I know some folks were looking for REAL GENIUS when Val passed. Back in stock at Orbit, $26.

Reading an upcoming horror novel about a mysterious film and a horror blog writing something about it that caused an accident and also some modern creepypasta style monster thing and it just isn't working for me at all. Details don't ring true and the scares are non-existent.

Alright, getting all my Anderson Blu-rays up on eBay tonight.

Import more 4K discs, y'all. Especially if you're annoyed with limited release and steelbook shenanigans. Diabolik, Atomic, Orbit... so many places blowing away the big box store and Bezos options.
