Nice! Really enjoying MK World so far.

And of course it happens more than a decade after I move away, being the only movie fanatic I ever knew about in the area.

Such a tiny town. So funny.
It's about the lady who claimed to have found a finger in her Wendy's chili, but they're using a fake restaurant.
Hilarious to imagine John Goodman, Bryan Cranston, and Sean "Samwise" Astin occupying a space I spent so much time in.

Peanut Butter Falcon was pretty great, I thought. Otherwise I'm with you.

Never heard of this. But baseball is one of my oldest loves and it's got Scheider, so I hope it's brilliant.

Leave it to the Internet to take a moral truth (AI is pretty bad) and use it as a tool to bludgeon a woman with.

Easily the worst movie I love. Just a chaotic series of terrible decisions that I just know Joel was cackling over.

I know he'd been having issues lately but these fucking guns, man. No use.

Seems like it might only be the theatrical cut, which sucks but at least it's my preferred cut of the two.

Somehow your answer makes more sense than mine.

Just seems that the YouTube route is the only viable way to get review copies and make it financially doable. I'd much rather try it in writing only.
But, lord knows I'm already spending too much on discs. Might be worth a shot trying to do something with the collection.

One of our two B&Ns cut their Criterion section down to a single four foot chunk. The other is holding out with a full row so far, and I know their new management style is to let stores do their own thing to some degree, but it makes me nervous as a fan of in-person browsing.

Haven't seen a limited Criterion yet. Not that it's impossible in current economic times, but would be a first for the company (other than when they have licenses expire).

A concern of mine as well. Might wait until closer to when I plan on purchasing the box set (their October flash sale) and see how things are looking.
