… All the carping about what should’ve been done comes well after all the facts were known - facts police may not have magically had. Then again, none of you critics have ever worked a homicide. So you have no real idea what’s happening from the cops’ perspective. Hate is hate even if you hate cops.

When you refer to undocumented people as “illegals” you start down a bad and deeply judgmental path. Most people without proper documentation are legal entry overstays.

Are some involved in gangs? Probably. That’s the way society works. Not the majority or even a notable minority. But that doesn’t serve the GOP “dangerous alien” narrative.

I taught classes in prison for several years. They were among the best students I’ve ever had.

I imagine their priorities revolve around high visibility, as this is mostly security theater. Also, it is much more likely that undocumented persons are involved in the labor force than gang activity.

There are two things about this trend I find inexcusable. The first is the sheer entitled laziness required to cheat with AI. Second, is the apologetic nonchalance with which most universities respond.

You failed to read closely and
and misunderstood. Still don’t understand apparently.
You’re the one who mentioned defunding. No more time for you.
