3. Kaiser has not, for over a decade, cared about behavioral health, or addiction. WRITE TO YOUR CONGRESSPERSON. Tell them about the difficulties you've had obtaining mental health care or addiction medicine treatment. Call Newson's office at (916) 445-2841, daily, and hold Kaiser accountable!

2. The fact that Kaiser refused to meet with us for 3 months during the first half of the strike, and then only agreed to meet for bargaining one day per week after that, demonstrates that they have never been prepared to bargain with us in good faith.

The Democratic Party no longer exists. It has been completely overtaken by the same business and social interests that control the Republican Party. They are functionally THE SAME PARTY. The sooner that the body political of liberals realize this, the sooner we can form a new, leftist party.

Schumer didn't switch sides. This is how he's been for a decade, or more. All bluster and no bite. That's the DNC these days. They're just quieter repubs.

The establishment dems don't want to play hardball, because they *like* and are benefitting from the moves the Trump is making. Establishment dems are in bed with the repubs, period, end of story.

For Kaiser to leave us out in the cold like this, for this long, when all we're demanding is exactly what all of the other unions in our area were given. Kaiser seems to believe that mental health and addiction medicine are less important than the rest of their company.

It is the power of our union's members who made this happen. Our collective dedication, our strength, and our resolve. That is what made this happen. We are the mighty, mighty union. The fight isn't over. We will keep fighting until we get the contract we deserve.

The dems stopped fighting this battle years ago.

They need to increase their upgrade rhythm a bit -- way more circles of hell are needed than just ten.

In the meantime, Adams and our union's president will work on determining a mediator. It'll probably be either Darrell Steinberg, a former Sacramento mayor, or Dr. Ghaley, a former Health & Human Services Director under Newsom's administration.

There should be conversations this week between Greg Adams, the CEO of Kaiser, and SCPMG, the Kaiser group that that has stubbornly and unfairly kept us on strike the last 19 weeks. It is expected that Adams will hash out the details of the details he wants for the contract.

Funding Medicaid for tens of millions of people is too expensive and breeds government dependency. But building Cybertrucks with government money, now that's what I call efficiency.

I refuse to purchase anything from Starbucks until they demonstrate that they'll bargain in good faith with their union workers. Their union-busting tactics are unethical, cruel, and anti-worker. Good luck to you all. Solidarity.

Your coverage of the Trump administration is extremely ass-backwards. This, and Trump's other blatantly illegal and terrifying grabs at power, should be at the top of the page, every day, every issue, every moment. Spending and budget stuff is important, but this is significantly more so.

This is happening because of private equity firms that mismanage companies, due to their fundamental misunderstanding of what those companies do, what their customers want, and why they were successful in the first place. Here's some context: www.reddit.com/r/craftsnark...

I want to believe that this won't pass. Where, exactly, is the Democratic Party resistance to this? The Dems have known *for years* that this is the goal, and they've been completely impotent, playing softball, and pretending to be "the bigger person."

Their strategy obviously didn't work, and now they're finally toying with the idea of mediation. What would happen next is the same thing that Northern California NUHW members had to do to settle their contract. The mediation process, in NorCal, took about 3 days... and then a contract was done.

strike, and then refused to meet with us again for the following 12 weeks. Once we finally did get them to return to the table, they would only meet with us one day per week. When they did come, they'd come with small proposals, only one or two at a time, because they wanted to starve us out.

so we will see if we hear anything from Kaiser today about that. We moved on the issue that they wanted us to move on, so we'll see if Kaiser is genuinely ready to meet with us. The timeline of bargaining has been really stupid. Kaiser met with us a couple of times the first two weeks of the

Those are clearly all problems, and they are interrelated. I'm not the limited one, here.

A problem with the far left is that we focus too much on the disagreements that exist between us. We should work on getting stronger together.

Because I browsed your feed and you post interesting stuff, like this. You need to understand where I'm coming from and I'd like to understand where you're coming from. The dems and the repubs in the US are in cahoots. Period.
