Jeez, I guess the clock is ticking, so she has to get all her performative legislating done in time for the cookout

I dunno. At this point, I don't even trust any Democrat that the Democratic Party doesn't try to kneecap.

This is really the heart of the article. The "debate" is not about personal safety on subways, it's about Fox News/NY Post et al. shopping talking points to conservatives that allow them to be racist without _sounding_ like it. I think the message you should take from this is cryptofascism is bad.

The fact that there are AI girlfriends and they don't break up with these chuds too is proof AI is not sentient.

Having gone to the ER for an allergic reaction: Probably gave her a Benadryl drip, possibly an epi pen, and she was fine moments later. In any case, I'll fault her for a lot, but not for going to the hospital for a medical emergency. Reactions are scary as fuck.

If Democrats want to convert this into lasting political change, they need to pull proceduralist "everything will be fine" guys like Chuck Schumer and Hakeem Jeffries off the front lines. Have them do what they do but get people out front who will go hard in the paint, people like today's speakers

Picture the 1000 hypothetical best people to run the United States. About half are men. About half are women. Some are non-binary. But almost all of those women have zero chance of ever being elected president. Because sexism. So the adjusted top 1000 lets in about 490 under-qualified dudes.🤡

Men would literally rather have a Markov chain convince them they're an intellectual pioneer than go to therapy

I don't think even Padilla heard what she said. He had apparently prepared to confront her over some people DHS had labeled as violent felons who weren't. She was out there rejecting local rule. If they don't like what you're doing somewhere, she says, they can just take over indefinitely.

The same Daily Harvest that put an ingredient the FDA considers unsafe for human consumption in their product, poisoned my friend and paid a $23 million settlement for it. www.aboutlawsuits.com/daily-harves...

Needs a bulge, some rounded corners, maybe even some burn-in. All doable. It's still pretty cool, though.
