I hear stories from a friend who helps coach an AYSO soccer team. They're gross, and I'm sure actually somewhat mild compared to what else goes on.

The only way we'll stop such crimes is to bear witness to them.

That's a good observation! I should ask the dev team at work if we can add more of that functionality to our CMS as a future enhancement.

🤣 I've tried to explain these types of awkward interactions to friends who are big into F1. "No, for real! At IndyCar one minute Mario Andretti nearly flattens you with a golf cart, and the next you're jumping out of Scott Dixon's way as he runs to use a porta potty before getting in his car!"

Not so sure about that. Those are crowning on the city streets needed for drainage, and they've already worked on 'em following the '23 event.

Funny... after trying out two different grandstands the past two years, I've been thinking one of those parking decks might actually be the better options out there.

What was unfortunately lost on the racing front was more than made up on the atmosphere front. So, although my inner racing fan misses the island circuit, I'm happy that the race weekend feels bigger than it has in a long time.

Any specific reason you can think of as to why that is? I frequently find myself with a little bit of a post-500 hangover, if you will, where it feels a little 'funny' jumping right into the event the following week.
