Why wasn't it reported that Josh Burns is running an open ticket and not preferencing the Greens? That news was reported 4 days ago.
People deserve to know that he's opened a path to victory for the Liberal Party.

I'm curious as to why the AJP haven't run a candidate. The rest of the ballot is heavily weighted to far right wing candidates all of whom will obvs preference the greens last.

unfortunately all the other candidates are somehow even shittier than the ALP - one nation, libertarian party and JB Myers (google him ugh). Animal Justice Party sat this one out for some reason 🤔 ... normally their preferences flow strongly to the Greens

Which is precisely why Labor didn't run a candidate. Ran a proxy ex-labor candidate who preferenced the Liberal Party 2nd. They'd be happy with the outcome.
