Also, your 16yo will get used to it. Eventually! The first year was tough for our youngest when the elder left for school, but they even came around.

Dorm drop off for the first kid is hard. Dropping the last kid off at UMD will be harder. At least Duluth is great to visit. And I hear they have plenty of tissues around for the crying types!

I moved my record player to the dining room so I don’t have to kneel on the floor to play records. Still some work left to do. Swap out amps and get RCA cables with an extra ground line. But it’s looking good!

My youngest was born the day the 35W bridge fell. I had just picked up our first born and we were all at Riverside Park when we saw it on the news. I had driven by it on University half an hour before it collapsed.
