Yeah, Tom Homan's positions have made it so lots of people can no longer live safely with their families.

It's the same way any copy of the original Little Shop of Horrors will have Jack Nicholson all over the cover, but he's only in the movie for about 5 minutes.

The older you get, the more you empathize with Bert, and the irritating Ernie is.

Bridge to Tetabithia wasn't the first book to upset me, but it was close. I came up with my own alternate ending for it ss a way to cope.

Bambi was the first. Read it at a very young age, burst out crying at the dinner table.

Yeah, I've since learned that. But at the time I hadn't seen much silent cinema.

(And yes, I know Griffith didn't invent that shot. But it was the first time I'd seen it.)

Despite being in no way, shape, or form a BOAN defender, I do have a favorite scene, or at least a favorite moment.
The camera is placed on a wagon and films as the wagon drives off. It is the moment when I realized that silent films were more technically advanced than I had thought.

Detroit style is my favorite. Who would have thought "cooked in a used oil pan" would be the secret to deliciousness.

I was going to say "'Bama Slammer and Zip", but that’s less 80's buddy cop and more 1970s comedy about Truck drivers.

Dear Canada,
Are you tired of having decent healthcare? Do you feel that your country has an insufficient number of school shootings?
Here's your chance!
Become the 51st state! Your Healthcare will go down, and shootings will go up! As an added bonus, your economy will crumble like an old cookie!

I've come to the conclusion that the best way to appreciate Metropolis is to not actually watch it. Look at still images, watch video clips of the cool parts, but sitting through the whole movie is a slog.

I like the phrase "amateur person." It indicates that Hegseth isn't just at amateur at secretary of defense, but at actually being a person.

Is there nobody in the White House with better Photoshop skills than that?
I've seen better digital alterations done with a 1995 copy of Windows Paint.
