Can we have our water companies back: Thames Water & Southern Water from Canadian & Ontario [Teacher] Pension funds? 🙏 These companies are not "investing": they dump unprocessed sewage in our rivers and seas, it's a 💩 show, literally.

Badenoch & Realism are not two words that belong in the same sentence.

Would solve so many problems.. If Elon's wealth were split up amongst all US Americans that's £1,000,000 each. Nice.

They won't even notice it. But the TAs, care workers, farm workers, supermarket workers will.

British Govt so needs a lesson in economics also. They sqwauk "growth, growth", have forgotten that this takes Investment, in Green new deal for jobs & training.

Unless the UK aligns its free zones with EU regulations, it cannot rejoin the European Union. Now do you understand why Starmer says 'There will be no rejoining the EU in my lifetime"?

Power to the people: the people would set the agenda for water companies: what Cumbria needs is different from Manchester is different from south coast. Water chiefs would be [Senior] civil servants who do what the People want. Thw Private, for profit model is dead, in the water. 😃

This is so sad. I was so mad when the #CANbill failed last month : it would have given us laws to prosecute polluters like water companies & oil spills😢 Thing is, we cant go on killing nature & biodiversity like this and live healthy lives on this Planet. The buck has to stop somewhere.

If only councils were allowed to issue debt (bonds) for Infrastructure projects! This country could be great again.

Yup. You are also being isolated. Noone sides with Israel, and Europe sides with Ukraine 101%.

Good questions. Public Board members would have to stay 6m-12m at least, like Magistrates. The goals of water companies would be set by law makers: provide clean drinking, water, process sewage, maintain sewers, plan for CC & population increase.

the Public board by Sortition, every 6M-2Y. The Water board could be CEO, CIO, COO, CTO, HR who are professionals, on professional salaries (like Civil servants) who get sack if they fail to meet their corporate goals, set out when Municipal corps are created, hopefully after C.Lewis bill on Mar18

Nice to see media doing their job on Reform. Now do Media also. And the "Regulators".

AfD meistens im ehemaligen Osten gewählt, dass bedeutet man muss dort in den nächsten fünf Jahren investieren um guten Jobs zu bauen.
