Why doesn’t some Democrat lawmaker sue over this? Maybe get proactive.

We've got these in the S.F. Bay Area. Here's one from Coyote Hills Regional Park in Fremont, California.

It's not an either or. Should read: "--is both intentionally deceptive and hilariously stupid." It's their motto.

This was probably The Onion.

Here's one of our bushtits. Fascinating how different species vary across the planet. As a for instance, we have black-necked stilts in California; in Thailand, they're black-winged.

I do love all your bird photos. I live in the San Francisco Bay Area and it's fascinating to see how bird populations differ. We do have variants on some of the birds you post; no bullfinches, but house finches and goldfinches, for example. Do you have bushtits (one of my favorites)?

A thought. It would be great to have a directory of firms fighting the good fight. (And hoping such a thing already exists.)

Mr. Elias. I have limited means for donations but would like to donate to a legal firm that is fighting the illegal moves of the current administration. Any suggestions?

What did anyone expect from this guy? How do you bankrupt a casino?

Thanks for answering my olympic flag football question. I agree with your answer. NFL should just stay away. I liked Kelce's proposal because it seems certain the NFL will try to horn in and his proposal at least gives the real flag footballers a chance. Be great to see them beat the NFLers.

The yellow-rumped warbler is around mostly in the fall. We also see the occasional Townsend's Warbler, also in the fall. We've got lots of lesser goldfinches, an occasional American goldfinch and several different sparrows (white-crowned, yellow-crowned, house, song).

Are all tits so cute. The only one in our backyard in the San Francisco Bay Area is the bushtit – talk about cute!

I'm curious where you live and if you are mostly painting birds in your area. Here in the S.F. Bay area we have a yellow-rumped warbler for part of the year, shown here in the fall during persimmon season.

Empathy has nothing to do with Trump's pardons. He's monetizing the process.

Trumpers are always thinking the other side should stop doing what Trump & his minions do. The media is currently ignoring Trump going after specific politicians and the media letting it slide. Then there's Kristi Noem saying "All politicians . . . should tone down their rhetoric."

She really said "All politicians . . . should tone down their rhetoric?" One thing these people are good at is modeling what's good for us is not good for anyone else. "Do as I say, not as I do." Hey Ms. Noem: Your boss needs to go first.

I'd love your thoughts on NFL players and Olympic flag football. I like Jason Kelce's idea: let the top NFL team play the top flag football team – winner goes to the Olympics.

Who knows with that guy. Could be. Could be because Obama went there. Maybe they factor in but I think it's just a major hissy fit because they dared to oppose him.
