I think they've upgraded the lie to "illegal terrorists".

It's not that they are incapable of writing reports, but that, as naive contrarians, they believe GLLM's are both knowledgeable and intelligent.
GLLM's, having been trained on anything available on the Internet, are simply naive.

The kicker is that they think their childish mewlings are seen as demands for submission.

They think that being elected to or appointed to positions of power means that they are owed honor, respect, and literal tribute.
"I have to earn it?"
And whether it's about the Trump not getting the Peace Prize or Melania not getting a covershot on Vogue, it makes them look whiny and petty.

I also wonder what percent of the people who have no problem with the concept of Social Murder, and who label doing anything else communism or socialism, even recognize the name "Engels" in this context.

White Nationalism is a racist movement.
It is most definitely not patriotism.

For those that refuse to see it:
Believing that White people are, in general, better than Black or Brown people is the DEFINITION of racism.
"Hate in their heart" is not a requirement for racism.

*Remember that for decades Republicans insisted that they weren't racist and that our accusing them of racism was worse than being a racist?
In both word and deed, Republicans today are essentially proclaiming that they are racists.

This is a documented fact that I can additionally attest to in my 70 years of lived experience.
Please, as a favor to me (and to yourselves), keep this always in mind. Never forget it.
Treat Republican demands appropriately.

The anti-AIDS activists in ACT-UP had a motto that is just as operant now as it was then. People will try to tell you it's a bit over the top. But it is most definitely not.

Misunderstanding "when they go low we go high" we refused to argue with nonsense thinking it kept us "above it all".
But what we have been doing is defaulting a conflict, allowing Republicans to declare victory.

In contrast, as Wall Street noticed that when people stand their ground, Trump backs down since he cannot risk being seen as a LOSER in a conflict and labelled it TACO.
He will call it a personal victory, lying about what actually happened. But it doesn't matter because HE BACKED DOWN.

But we need to look at what happened when a college, a law firm, or a media outlet immediately bent the knee and offered some sort of monetary compensation as an apology. Trump knew that their compliance marked them as weak and they were subjected to further humiliation.

Take note how Trump usually chooses a single person or institution at a time when he attempts to punish people who contradict and criticize him. It's easy to intimidate a single person and turn them into an object lesson.

Our voices may not have the power of some other folk. But we know that we cannot depend on them. But the little bit of power we do have is amplified by our numbers. And if we all speak up and speak out, those same numbers will protect us from persecution.

We need to stop expecting "somebody else" to speak out. I believe that anyone who knows the truth, has the ability to speak, and at least one person in their life they can speak has the moral duty to speak the truth.

To Trump et al the lack of pushback to their nonsense looks like general agreement and they have no moral objection to using one lie to support another.

Even if (Especially if?) a bizarre Republican issue is actually a loyalty test of its voters where they wish to see how many people dutifully repeat patent nonsense, it is important that as many of us as possible push back immediately and loudly to let less knowledgeable Americans hear the truth.

...at a never identified location that has installed litter boxes in their restrooms for children "identifying as animals" is, in addition to being bizarre and unnecessary, actually a part of the Republican strategy to deny the existence of trans gender humans.

The only additional task I ever accomplished was sleep.
It turns out that retirement has a similar problem with time management.
I may have to trick myself into acting busy in order to accomplish my retirement goals.
It turns out that in addition to immigrants, BUSY PEOPLE also get things done.

The only shows I was ever involved in were operettas that rehearsed intensely for six weeks for a handful of performances for just one long weekend.
I was working fulltime nights in a hospital at the time, and I always looked forward to how much I will be able to do when rehearsals are over...

Local cops and ED nurses refer to New Year's Eve as "Amateur Night".
It looks like that for Park Rangers, holiday weekends are Amateur Night for naive hikers and mountain climbers.
I'm wondering why there never was a "special episode" about this with Ranger Smith and Yogi Bear.

...since your monthly payment is divided by the credit card company in proportion to the separate outstanding balances for credit and cash advance, a $40 cash advance can take YEARS to be paid off.

And the for the first time in my life, I became aware that Christmas, New Year's Eve, Halloween, and Memorial Day all occur at the end of their month.

The good part: rent was easily paid promptly on the first of the month.
But my credit cards at the time were due at the end of the month. I COULD pay them early, but the decision on whether pay just the minimum balance due OR pay a little extra meant I paid them on the due date.

,,,for a six week class they need to advance in their career OR get a summer job to make some money.
I'm amazed by teachers who manage to set aside money during the school year for food, rent, and utilities.
I was paid monthly at the University of Chicago Hospitals and it took some strategizing..
